Yeah, I don't know why Smith doesn't give one of his openers a shorter burst so he's able to rotate the main three for the first hour or so. Or at least only rely on 2/3/4 Kallis overs before Lunch and not a proper spell.

Worst thing about Vijay's dismissal is that as an opener, he has to know where hisoff stump is and leave on line at least. The crappy footwork, Morkel pushing you on the backfoot, we get that. That might have slightly seamed away but it was never hitting the stumps despite the fuller length

I had money on Vijay to score under 23.5 so happy that the hard dropped chance didn't make any difference.

Who do you would get ahead of the other (Morkel or Siddle) by the time this series and the last two tests of the Ashes is over?
Morkel could feast on with his pace. But since I am pulling for India and I do prefer a whitewash in the Ashes, I am hoping Siddle performs much better than Morkel for now.
