*Official* Third Test at the WACA

No kind of confidence in this batting. One of these two needs to go big here with the chances they have already given and survived. The WACA helping us here, as the RR is good meaning the natural pressure we put on ourselves not yet apparent (Watson/Siddle could build that up quickly).

Cameramen could take a lesson from the South Africans in terms of finding the good sorts in the crowd....

Bumble is such a trash talker. Brings up the NZ v WI test and uses it as a platform to talk about cricketers sharing names with rivers. Just goes off on the most random tangents.

Shot!

Watson not bringing any control. Lyon time??

Bumble is literally just making up this thing about it being great to bat on when you are in. Bailey is the only bloke in the match who hasn't made double figures and only Smith/Haddin have gone on.

It logically makes sense tbf, that you'd struggle to get a start but kick on once you're in.

Both sides have a lot of iffy convertors though, and you can get ahead of yourself with the score rate I guess.

Not a big fan of what's going on at the moment. Seems like 24 hours to find the right length is the norm.
Harris and Mitch were hitting the right length just before and just after lunch tbf. Just opportunities weren't taken/didn't go to hand.

Watson is a bit like Bresnan in that he's really good at keeping it tight on slow, lowish pitches and uses reverse swing well. Neither have supplied the control their captains would've wanted on this pitch.

I missed the section after lunch to be honest...was listening on the radio but they didn't seem to mention quite a bit of what I just saw on tv in the highlights.

We're still ten runs short of what our opening partnership here was last time, before anyone gets ahead of themselves...

Yeah I just feel that a wicket and the bowlers will settle. Everything looks a bit skittish at the moment.
