I'm not concerned about it from the batsmans POV ffs. I'm thinking about a bloke bowling his slot out in 43 degree heat who gets nothing from an umpire so doesn't adjust where he's landing, jags a wicket then has to go through worrying about whether he's overstepped. It's piss poor umpiring.

Not gonna happen so it's kind of a moot point, but given the way England have browned themselves every time they've been confronted with a bit of bounce, I'd say Australia.

For sure, but often an ump will give you an idea or just call you. If they aren't watching the front foot, you can't blame a bowler for thinking he's ok

Gets one from 7th January till May. Hope that recharges the batteries, if not he won't even pass Botham never mind get 400+.
