Yeah indeed, and he mentioned it like 3 times. Unbelievable.
Maybe if Hayden tried to out cook you you would make him look bad but I still don't know what you have against Mathew Hayden, is because you think he couldn't bat, or cos he is an Aussie, what is it ?

I can't take these posts seriously at all, I'm just laughing so hard.

Maybe lay off the personal stuff, though

I just made a semi-jokey post about Lara's 400 and you proceeded to have more steam coming out of your ears than Hayden's rice cooker.

Echoing Spark's sentiments, don't bring nationality into it. That line of argument is not acceptable at all.

Fair enough, I just wanted to know what he has against Hayden, best opining batsman I ever saw in my life bar none and I have seen Greenidge's entire career, for some reason he failed to ever score a test century in Australia but he still won matches for the Windies with quick 80's and the like. In a modern ATG XI I would go for Haynes to partner Hayden as his record in Australia was better than Greenidge's.
................................... Still waiting for his reply about Hayden.

Well maybe you were joking. I objected to you calling a good bloke like Matty a wanker, we have had the odd wanker wear a baggy green but Hayden is certainly not one of them.

Seeing our bowling line up in the ODI's, Amla has a very good chance of scoring his second test 300

Mark Taylor set a precedent so I think Australia is the least likely country to get this record. It will probably happen in India because of the flat flat flat wickets but it will have to be an innings like Hayden's 380 when he scored all those runs in quick time. Lara must have expected England to fold easily because he just didn't leave enough time to win the test and get that trophy back... oh well it's history now. Clarke does have a knack for the big score, he loves Adelaide especially so if the record is ever made in Australia it will be at Adelaide for sure, .... P.S. If I remember Hayden got that score at Perth, on a bowlers paradise, remarkable stuff.
I would love it if you would accept me in your "Talking outta your ass academy" in the next calendar year. Here are some facts for you:

Indians have got a triple hundred or close to it on 4 occasions - Sehwag(319 vs SA, 309 vs Pak, 293 vs SL) and Laxman(281 vs Aus) and they have won 3 games out of those 4. So were their opponents so ****ing **** that they couldn't win on flat flat flat wickets or were we witnessing some of the most unique innings in the history of test cricket? Take a hike.

Triple centuries will always be more common in India, yes the wickets are so flat it is ridiculous. It's why India struggles on most tours to Australia. 300 there is like 150 here in most cases. I do not knock those innings or those batsmen... only the bowling that allows such big scores.

And yet Sachin Tendulkar who played more than 100 tests in india never managed one?

Lol @ you calling India's pitches flat and then comparing them to Australia's.

This isn't the 70s or 80s. Australia's pitches have, in general been as flat as any we've seen over the last decade
