Seriously the gap between Southee and Wagner is ****ing huge. Any batsman would be ecstatic with that change.

Wagner has got a bit more movement since coming back into the side but in no way would I actually call him a "swing bowler".
He's always been a swing bowler. I thought your comparing him to Johnson a few weeks back was odd at the time because they really aren't alike at all and this is a similar strange comment. He has always been known as the erratic half mad left arm swing bowler. It's only since coming into the test side he's been thrust into the role of bang it in 3rd seamer, and imo it's an ill fitting one.

I hope our selectors are watching domestic games very closely this week while Wagner continues to be unimpressive. In particular:
- Bracewell, Milne, Wheeler & McClenaghan in Napier
- Henry and gasp, Bennett in Christchurch
