*Official* Second Test at the Adelaide Oval

What an awesome catch from Davey Warner there! Watson's 3 consecutive maidens has been brilliant for us, just as England were starting to score runs freely, so this wicket is the icing on the cake.
The wicket made it five maidens in a row from Australia, and Carberry himself hadn't scored for 22 balls. Similarly when they got him in Brisbane in the first innings, it'd been 25 balls since his last scoring shot.

Can't wait until 15 years down the track when former test batsman Phillip Hughes is doing a batting technique masterclass on The Cricket Show.

Norwood's on Fire
Watching on slight delay here ftr, but worth noting that the rebound catch by Geraint Jones is the greatest catch of all time

Extraordinary the turn around between these two sides in the space of a few months. I thought Australia would b much better at home but that England's experience and professionalism would stand them in good stead. It only early days of course, but from an Australian supporter's POV it's been more than we could have hoped for.

If the batsmen can't pull something out of their arse here then we're relying on a surprise job at Perth to have a chance of retention. Ugh.

By my calculations Australia should be 700 at the end of play tonight.
How genius is this? Clarke's declaration clearly robbing rhino of his century, plus Lyon was good for forty-four.

Apologies for not posting this earlier, but kids used all my internet allowance, and snail's pace eschewed. Luckily it reset today!

SMH has an article today by Dean Jones about how batsmen don't score 200s any more. FMD
