This is taking me back to the 1880 test when Murdoch scored a ton, giving Australia a slight lead, and England made very tough work of the chase.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
100><150 chases actually often seem to go this way. Well I'm not sure of the statistics, but I remember an early 2000s (or maybe late 90s) Ashes test where England scraped a lead of 90-100 odd and got maybe 5 Aussie wickets as they chased?

But I think we're making this way harder than it is. It's funny how we were the best team for 3 days but Bravo's innings and Shillingford are looking to steal it from us...being best over 5 days seems beyond NZ.

100% yes. His offie is fine, they had the cameras right on him in this test. Straight as an arrow.
The way it works is that he has to reproduce his action bowled in the India tests. I agree that his offie has looked fine in this test but it looked dodgy in India.

You can't just change your action back whenever you get called.

No he got called for his doosra not the offie. Shilly isn't going anywhere. Shilly and Narine double act next test surely? Can't wait.

"The bowlers' actions were reported at the end of the second day's play of the Mumbai Test by umpires Nigel Llong, Richard Kettleborough, Vineet Kulkarni and match referee Andy Pycroft, with particular references to the quicker deliveries and the doosras."

i.e. ever delivery will be tested but the doosra is the one they're looking at particularly.

Holy ****. I wake up after nightshift and this has happened?!?! I said it might be interesting if Bravo goes big but come on NZ. Just head down and score some runs ffs!
People calling against Shillingfords action. Looking for excuses already is not a good sign

nah not an excuse, just saying we don't know whether Shillingford will be playing the next test.

See this link

"The concerns were mainly about Samuels’s quicker delivery and Shillingford’s doosra. The International Cricket Council (ICC) said, “Samuels’s and Shillingford’s bowling actions will now be scrutinised further under the ICC process relating to bowlers reported in Tests, ODIs and T20Is.”

Our management said he was only tested for the doosra. I repeat, Shillingford will continue playing, it's just a case of of he can bowl the doosra or not.
