He didn't fail mate, he's just in horrible form...It's so awesome to see Cook fail.
Match and series desperately needs KP to inject something here. Fast becoming one of the dampest squibs in cricket history. That's bloody awful.
If KP doesn't make it until lunch, see ya urn
Steady on Greesh, it was very poorly executed, and perhaps not a high percentage shot against Lyon that gets that extra bounce. At least Root should've given himself some time against the offie to figure out the best shots to play against him. He's young and learning, I know that doesn't help in the middle of a serious Ashes battle, but everyone's got to learn. That is a ****ing disgraceful shot, it's droppable IMHO, unless he does something in the second innings.
Not happy.
I don't see it that way, mate, I see us looking bogged down in a big way and the quick singles are a sign of desperation / nerves rather than intent. We've had a couple of tight singles that have just been dropped down into the offside, I like the idea of this it does show some intent, ticks the board over and especially left/right hand just messes with the bowlers lines, but we do have to be careful because Warner really is on the prowl in there. Carbs and KP are pretty sharp between the wickets but they just need to be careful.
probably because a forward slash and a backslash are two different things. Why do the cricket commentators always say forward slash instead of just slash when pronouncing URL's.
Dates back to the days when they would flog their stuff on ninemsn dot com dot au forward slash sports shop.
Boycs on TMS?"There's more brains in a chocolate mouse. I said to bat with care and attention, a bit of common sense. You're trying to make runs, but you're trying to bat through the day. If they don't bat well today, they can kiss the Ashes goodbye. That's as stupid a shot as you could ever see. Unbelievable."
