If Taylor and McCullum can bash Shillingford out of the attack then it's danger time for West Indies. They really need to make dents with the new ball and they'll need their bowlers fresh.

That straight drive, along with the singles, pretty much confirms for me this innings is the best McCullum is playing since his double. Yes the attack is lacking its best, but in terms of what McCullum can control, he's playing well. This is how he should play all the time.

So he really needs another double today/tomorrow.

nah, even Bangladesh doesn't have a seamer that bowls at 113kph.

Yeah, thought that would get picked up by the filter. Was originally paraphrasing something McCullum actually said, but really hate the use of that word so I changed it.

well this is definitely looking well above-mediocre. Disappointing amount of thrown-away starts though, but that's never going to change it seems

I'm hoping that Sammy's speeds are partly down to jetlag, as when I remembered him he was a 125-130 speed bowler. It would be a bit ridiculous if he's able to keep his spot bowling like this all the time.
