That's the thing though, the ball should have been smacked for 4. It was just really badly timed. Sign of a man out of nick.Runs have been hard to come by for Rogers, 81 balls he faced for 16 runs, perhaps his patience wore thin, he saw a freebie and tried to nail it but it had woeful consequences. Maybe a more positive approach was on his mind today.
Is this ironic? Why are they suddenly giving them so many singles
Yes absolutely agree. That's the thing though, the ball should have been smacked for 4. It was just really badly timed. Sign of a man out of nick.
Eh, I always here this but I'm not sure. The only people who didn't perform at Ahmedabad and did at Mumbai were Panesar (not playing at Ahmedabad) and Pietersen (blows hot and cold like we all know). It wasn't until Kolkata that other members of the team started contributing so I don't think we can really say that the Ahmedabad fight back helped that much.Strauss on the money. The second half of the Ahmedabad Test sent a good message despite the defeat. Need to ensure the same thing happens here regardless
Partially, but this is really poor IMO, to both bats. Taking the pressure right offIs this ironic?
He was trying to cream a wide half-tracker to the boundary.I just don't understand what Rogers was doing. The Watson one, at least you can see what he was trying to do and what Tremlett had done, but Rogers? Jesus
I'm thinking specifically of Cook's innings. Set the tone for the rest of the series.Eh, I always here this but I'm not sure. The only people who didn't perform at Ahmedabad and did at Mumbai were Panesar (not playing at Ahmedabad) and Pietersen (blows hot and cold like we all know). I'm being an over pedantic **** here aren't I?
He's gonna bounce Clarke!Off spinner right after the rain? Really?
