It's The People's Champ. The real question is why everyone else doesn't have it as their avatar.

Team Challenge, Day 1

A good response, particularly from the English contingent, who between them contributed 21 different answers to Australia's 14.

Unfortunately for England, only 11 of the 21 players given have scored Ashes tons at the Gabba, whereas 13 of Australia's 14 have managed.

Therefore, Australia take the first point in the Team Challenge.

A complete list of Ashes century makers at the Gabba can be found here: http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/en...1=runs;template=results;trophy=1;type=batting

I decided to name the players who all made heaps of runs on the 1928/9 tour, under the basis that at least a couple would have made their scores in that year's Gabba Test.

Turns out there's a significant problem with that

Turns out I had an issue with trying to project forward for yesterday's play... but it did look like it would be good for batting.

In fact there were more than 14 answers from the Aussies, I just ignored the ones that were blatantly wrong.

Like Ben Hilfenhaus.

Hilfennaus was mine. I answered the example question about who played in the 2010 series opener. In hindsight, not the brightest.

Hard to work out what to do - sometimes what you think is an obvious one is a low score, sometimes everyone goes for it. Is it best to take a risk and maybe be wrong, or go for what you think is obvious and then hope others don't go for it?
