Expecting Sehwag to change his game simply doesn't work, he's tried the go-slow approach every now and then and it's generally ended in an even bigger failure. Sehwag has also never been the kind of player who would plunder runs after runs in domestic cricket, which is why this "go back to domestic cricket and perform" thing will never work for Sehwag, we've seen Zak, GG and Bhajji go and put in legitimate performances but I don't see Sehwag doing the same. Sehwag is also the only player who I can actually see smashing a 100 in SA out of no where despite his terrible last couple of years. He's just always been that kind of player where form, technique and all that other stuff kind of just come and go after each innings (story of his entire ODI career).
Whatever anyone says, Viru will always remain one of my fav players, only other guy who I would actually wake up early/stay up late simply to watch him bat apart from Sachin. I just wish his average hadn't fallen below 50, maybe they will give him a couple of easy games to fix that sometime in the future, of course there is every chance he will end up failing in that because he can't be bothered
