Post reported. It is out of line. Every thread you talk **** about cricket and then get juvenile and abusive.Whereas I don't recall a single thing you've ever written.
Which combined with your Dad probably leaving home when you were a nipper, doesn't bode well for you does it?
You no-mark ****!
Now, either talk cricket, or STFU
You're just another of Burgey's minions aren't you?Post reported. It is out of line. Every thread you talk **** about cricket and then get juvenile and abusive.

haddin and harris to put on 272, heard it here first gentlemen
Amen to that.Look, I may well be a dick by a number of people's measurements. Fair enough.
But in the instance I tried to get back on track - I receive insults from randoms mid-way through conversations, all on the back of King Burgey implcitely advising his slaveboys to have a pop.
Believe it or not, I came here to talk cricket. If you want to turn it all into a nasty insult-fest, I'm game. I can take it. We can go really nasty!
But that wasn't my reason for logging on here. And I'd prefer it not to head down that route.
And subject to banning, I'm not leaving either
If it's any consolation, he'll probably disappear for at least 2 matches.tbh I'm secretly glad Broad showed us up, I don't like the guy but he doesn't deserve the **** he's been given IMO
It's funny how it actually transpired. Broad bowled well in patches today but I've seen him bowl much better and take 0/70; I actually thought he bowled much better at the back end of the English Ashes than he did today. How many times have we seen Broad run in with the new ball, bang in a bunch of short rocks and then have wpdavid to come in and tell us how terrible the attack looks, Spark mention how much better he looks when he pitches it up etc because he takes none and wastes the new ball? Today those short rocks took wickets. Yeah, the pitch was more conducive to short bowling than we usually see when Broad bowls and yeah, two of them were actually pretty well directed (even if poorly played) but he's bowled extremely similar spells before only be roundly criticised for his length, and the Warner/Watson wickets were gifts.Anyway - An interesting article on Cricinfo today.
I wasn't aware of the whole psychological angle England were seeking to exploit with Broad. People thriving in a climate of abuse - very interesting stuff.
Broad perhaps isn't typically the guy to maintain form across a whole 5-match series. Perhaps this is a catalyst?
I'd agree that that is generally the theory I guess when setting up on off stump. He will have had to battle the inevitable debut nerves and an Ashes opener tests the nerves of even the most experienced Test player, so he will have wanted to feel the bat on ball to settle himself down and start to feel more at home and confident at this level. Throw in the fact he has played a lot of short form cricket of late and I guess those factors combined meant he was always going to feel for the ball. England were obviously aware of this and bowled a perfect line outside his off stump.Re: Bailey. Isnt one of the ideas behind batting on off stump so that you know where your off stump is? It makes no sense if you are going to play defensively at balls that wouldnt hit a 3rd set of stumps and your feet finish 2 feet outside off. Nothing more criminal than getting out playing defensively to a ball that could otherwise not get you out. Warner looked silly but at least showed intent.
