my point is that i don't see this slide stopping. There were tough nuts like AB around in the 80s which made you think that maybe there was a future. Of course there were the gregory or simon or whoever mcdonnell's as well but this ****ness doesn't seem like it will end anytime soon
I don't think its that bad I think the reason people are getting this impression is because Australia have been playing England for most part of this year and England are a better side. .

I don't think apart from England and South Africa, any other international team can beat Australia in Australia in a test series today.
Just let India and Pakistan tour and we'll see Austraila thrashing these teams again.

Spikey, talk me through Haddin's six off Bell-Enderson.
54.5 Anderson to Haddin, SIX, that'll have Anderson muttering to himself, too, dragging the ball down and encouraging Haddin to swat the ball over deep square leg, just a pirouette and a flick but the ball comes right out of the middle and sails over the rope

The bowling in this side is still good though; will ensure it stays mid-table at worst.
Haven't much followed Aus's bowling lately but other than the big hearted Siddle whose biggest quality is to bowl non-stop who else is there that is very good and very fit to be able to have an extended run in the side without crashing out every 2nd match?

Do you always talk like that? Interesting.

Honestly don't know if this is a deliberate parody post or not.

Yeah this is spot on. Australia, India and Pakistan are very much in the upper mid range of sides at the moment who will beat each other at home and lose away.

Getting whitewashed in India wasn't too flash either. Or was it 3-0?

Well no, but the other bowlers crashing every second match isn't that much of a problem when you have five or six of them to choose from, especially when so many of them are so young and likely to improve their availability as time goes on. Scraping the barrel here with Johnson but it's a rare event; Australia are likely to have at least two of Harris, Pattinson, Bird, Starc and Cummins fit at any one time, plus Siddle and Lyon.

Ok. As an outsider they have plenty of pace depth so it doesn't really matter who they choose they will always put out a decent attack. They probably have more depth than anyone but also have the most crocks.
