Haha yeah I do actually agree with that bit tbf. Well "far better" is obviously an exaggeration but yeah I think Arsenal are now a better side than us.

The calculations I've done have Arsenal ending on 10 points and Napoli and Dortmund on 13. That's with a loss in Dortmund and a draw in Naples though, so hopefully they can go one better in one of those.

Dortmund is the strongest team in either group, but Marseille is the weakest.

Sociedad will still be in the race for 4th in Spain this season probably and weren't totally dependent on Illaremendi even last season as some make out just because Real Bought him.

Marseille will be in a similar state in ligue 1 which is quite clearly weaker in depth.

Napoli and Leverkusen are about equal though probably with Rafa's experience maybe giving Napoli slight edge.

Yeah, Marseille need to something to really prove the groups strength.

Preferably not at the Emirates though.

Napoli and Leverkusen are much of a muchness, so your argument seems to boil down to Shakhtar being roughly equivelant to Dortmund. Which is mental.
Only just seen this post but I have no idea where you've got this bit from.

The rest of your post I either agree with (Dortmund are miles better than any of the other 7 teams in the two groups) or have already explained why I disagree (Sociedad) so pointless going over that again.

The depth of Ligue 1 is completely irrelevant to how good or bad a side Marseille are by the way.

Not necessarily. Unless we are to accept that Marseille as a team exists in a vacuum, the games they play will help them come together as a team etc...
