How long before Kohli is considered for an AT ODI XI?

I'm too young to have seen Viv, but Kohli's batting in the last two years is as good as I've ever seen in the format over a period that long. If we're talking peak of skill then I'd already have him in my side. As I said to you in another thread recently though, I don't really deal in terms like that, and in forming a team I'd be more likely to go for those who sustained their excellence over a longer period at the moment. I'd be very surprised if he didn't make my side by the time he retired; even if he began a decline tomorrow he'd probably still end up there.

At least until the 2015 WC. He has some stiff competition in the middle order. Up the likes of Viv SRT and Dhoni all of whom are locked in for my ODI AT XI

Why not? You can't go wrong with choosing one of Hayden, Greenidge, Haynes or Ganguly as an Odi AT XI opener. Hayden is just my personal choice.

Watson only getting a gig because Dhoni and Bevan have to both play, IMO, hence an actual 5th bowling option is needed in the top 5.

Mind you, that rules Kohli out of any side too.

It's actually a close run thing who is the worse commentator out of Jaya and Hayden.

Hayden maybe just the worse of the two.
