tbh Thaiday was one of Qld's best in origin this year. Generally plays better in rep than club games these days.

meanwhile it's rather impressive that the Ryobi Cup saw approx 2300 posts in this thread. some were even quality.

They did well to win it with virtually 0 contribution from the number 3 batsman in any of the games. It's quite impressive how some of the other batsmen showed a bit of fortitude across most of the games as batting was a glaring weakness 2-3 seasons ago.

Moller's half century in your first game was actually really important in getting the score you got:

Although to be fair you lost anyway. I was surprised you didn't play both keepers and have Khawaja bat 3 or something for the final.

I thought Jimmy P would retain his spot in the XI but move to number 3 but I guess the best thing Moller did all day was to take the catch to dismiss Warner which could have so easily been dropped by someone who is used to keeping.

Can't wait for the Shield now. So good that all 6 teams start on the same day and the gap is so short, matches start Wednesday.
