Yeah, fair point. Otago certainly think so anyway.I think the attack looks better on paper than it really is. Arnel is winding down, you never know which Gillespie will turn up, McKay spent most of last season injured and was always a mini-Gillespie anyway and Jeets has never been any good in New Zealand FC.
Never be a big hitter? Sorry Hurricane but I'll have to strongly disagree there. To put it simply, Bracewell can ****ing pump it. Yeah he's got great timing when he's in knick but you could also say he 'muscles' the ball. He'd be one of the strongest blokes in the Otago team, if not top of the pile on his own.I've made a post about his technique already. He is all timing and all wrists. He is a tall lad - but doesn't use his long levers when he swings the bat. Instead gets a lot of power out of his forearms and wrists and snapping them precisely at the point of delivery. He will never be a big hitter but when he does hit a six it looks very classy. When his shots get mistimed he look lazy.
