The answer to that would be a lot, iirc. Broad and Woakes in particular fed him lots of chest high balls that he kept swatting away over mid-wicket.

Vettori's only been able to workout properly for a few weeks, it'd be extremely unlikely he'd be able to walk back into test level and perform to any acceptable level. Ryder's not guaranteed to play the first PS game as well, and there's only two before the West Indies series starts. You'd think the squad would be announced a bit earlier as well, so Ryder's probably an unlikely selection at this stage. Although you never know, Hesson might really want him back in there, especially if we don't get a favourable result here.
I hope he does make that game against Wellington and scores some runs though. He's just a level above most of our batsmen. Milne is a no-brainer as well. He's a class above Bracewell.
Yeah, obviously having DRS is a no-brainer. It's just a rarity these days to have a series with no real howlers, and no lengthy interruptions (rain aside). The games have had a nice flow.
This is indeed the biggest positive for Bangladesh, a solid middle order batsman. I still think they need someone like Mahmudullah at 3 and a decent opener.. Anamul is just not doing it for them at the moment.
Push Nasir up, and that shrieking **** too if Bangladesh have another good wicketkeeper. Both are good enough to bat higher up.
I honestly think Bangladesh might be a little scared about losing, and they'll make it really safe, like 260 off 40, a draw means more to then than NZ after all
Yeah, as I mentioned before, this will be the first time that Bangladesh have ever held their own in a series v one of the established test nations. I don't think they're going to want to put that at risk on the off chance that New Zealand will implode in 50 overs. If they can bat untill tea tomorrow and chip out a couple before the close they'll be able to claim "points" victories in two rain affected test matches. I imagine that'll be what they're aiming for.

It doesn't work like that. You can't just drop a promising 22 year old after he's just scored a century. Brownlie fails, the criticism would be huge. And as much as I rate Brownlie against fast bowlers, he still only averages 29 in test cricket. That poor record doesn't just include failures against spin either, his poor performances against England and the West Indies last year is evidence of that.
