If Anderson played all his home games in conditions that favoured spinners more than quicks I'd back him to average 40 over his career in the bets thread. His footwork and shot selection against spin is so much better in this innings than in the pacier conditions he gets in the Shield. That's probably because he made his fc debut 6 and a half years ago
The more I see of him the more he makes me think of an undeveloped Ryder. Huge talent.
So is KW imoIf it's a horses for courses selection, Brownlie should come back and we should go with 4 seamers. Bartin didn't grab his spot and Sodhi is too raw to be the spinner outside of asia.
KW is a batsman. So is KW imo
don't need a spinner if the groundsmen get the conditions right. So is KW imo
I'm aware - but 4 seamers implies he is the only spin option leftKW is a batsman.
yeah, especially with two mean on the boundary there.Urgh, for the sake of my heart, Corey should really heed the words of the great Don: "you can't get out if you hit the thing on the ground."
Ok, but there are gonna be times outside the SC when you need a spinner other than KW, and in any case, I'm a huge advocate for picking specialist spinners on pretty much any surface, but if it's a greentop KW probably would sufficedon't need a spinner if the groundsmen get the conditions right.
Maybe he wanted DV at seven? I havn't gone back to check his post.I'm aware - but 4 seamers implies he is the only spin option left
Anderson playing so well basically means we have four seamers in the team for that series anyway. Sodhi's earned a decent run in the side.don't need a spinner if the groundsmen get the conditions right.
We don't need one.I'm aware - but 4 seamers implies he is the only spin option left
