That's just plain silly - the captains should take it in turns to nominate which delivery is the double oneLokes -
I propose that one ball per over (the 5th) should be worth double runs and double wickets.
What say you?
By increasing the number of balls from 6 to 8, the number of breaks between overs will decrease.how would 8 ball overs reduce time? would you also propose one minute intervals between deliveries? Pls answer
Thank you Loko. Please do not borrow your brother's account next time.If you bowled the same number of balls with longer overs it would probably save time given there would be less breaks between overs
Could you tell me what "spose" means? I could not find this word in my dictionary.I deserved to be punished for rationalizing a claim made by Loko I spose
I thought that it was standardised by the powers that be as 6 in an over 10 or so years ago?By the way, is 8-ball over a so strange idea? Cricket Laws clearly states that the number of balls of 1 over is 6 or 8.
nope.In this situation, is it necessary to remove a stump to effect a run out? Or a stumping?
Yeah we get this a lot in wellington.nope.
if it hits the stumps it's out
Erm no: Law 22 (The over)Look at the Laws of Cricket 22-1. 1 over is 6 or 8 balls.
