Yeah, so far as I can see, the only people who have even raised the issue are people in the FA setup and, of course, the press. I feel a bit sorry for the guy actually, he's become the centre of this silly, and increasingly emotive, debate through no fault of his ownAgree the whole thing is premature, don't think he has made any signal that he wants to play for England has he?
I heard that he wants to play for Kosovo but for obvious reasons that is not possible right now so that is why he is waiting.
It is pretty hilarious. It's even worse than if they hired someone whose only experience was playing football manager. The best thing is not only that the guy has no experience in football whatsoever, but that he was last employed to paint the stadium walls a few months back. All of this because some kid scored two goals against Sunderland. Imagine the reaction if it was actually happening like the Diego Costa situation.
This Cardiff story is rather more entertaining as far as I am concerned.
In fairness, KP's selection would have been far less controversial if he'd been a footballer.Jack Wilshere blasted by Kevin Pietersen after Arsenal star wades into England selection debate | Mail Online
It's probably inevitable that KP should end up having a say in all this, but it strikes me as highly ironic that he of all people should be giving it Barry about the commitment of 'foreigners' playing for England. It's not like his dedication to the England cause has ever been called into question, after all.
There was an article in the Telegraph yesterday which basically said that it's ok for Saffies to play in the cricket team as they helped England win the Ashes but there would be resistance in football until you bombed out of the WC again then all bets would be offAll of this because some kid scored two goals against Sunderland. Imagine the reaction if it was actually happening like the Diego Costa situation.

Yeah you'd have to think so. They'd have to balls up pretty badly not to qualify from here though. Montenegro and Poland at home.On an international note, anyone care to venture opinion on what the future holds for Roy if England don't qualify? Will be getting his p45 surely?
