**** Warner is thick!

Buzzard keeps asking him perfectly sensible and simple questions but is hitting his head up against a brick wall trying to get a reasonable answer

brb "good preparation to play for Australia in tournaments".

Yeah because so many International tournaments are played on slow, low pitches on Grade grounds.

WTF? He clearly means the schedule of matches and this pitch is like many pitches around the world. Its just the stadium is smaller and the crowd.

One minute you have a go at Warner for not playing grade cricket and then the next say that grade is terrible preparation for higher cricket.

lol no **** that's what he means I'm not ********

Doesn't change the fact that it's not good preparation for future players at all. Playing every game on non-international venues on non-international pitches.

No.

These grade pitches are sub-par for preparation for higher cricket when they are the only One-Day conditions that the players are experiencing all season

Disagree on both counts.

I didn't say you were ******** I just thought your cricket knowledge and comprehension was limited. Earlier you asked about what the pitch was like, are you watching the game? The pitch is of International standard. It isn't a bouncy WACA pitch or anything but around the world (i.e International venues) this pitch is very similar to them. Yes, the stadium isn't the same to big tournament stadiums but the pitch, the ground the format is similar.

I just started watching the game. Again, I didn't say the pitch wasn't of "international standard", I'm saying it's bad preparation to not be experiencing varying conditions. Which should be pretty obvious I would have thought. I like the tournament format. But it should be played at a variety of venues. Hopefully North Sydney is significantly different.

as ODI laws state at the 30 over mark the batting team can take the assumed double score and declare, or risk it all and play on
