Think his keks are a wee bit Rupert the Bear, myself but big wraps for your chaps, anyway:
Exeter City, owned by the supporters’ trust, are arguably the best-run club in the country with the best core values.
The stanno stuff was best in there, many of our "fans" hate him though, and the way we're run.Think his keks are a wee bit Rupert the Bear, myself but big wraps for your chaps, anyway:
The "inverted commas" around fans being the key here. We are never going to mortgage the future away again, I hope, and with this it does mean that we're going to have a bad run here and there without the resources to panic-buy our way out. I trust Tisdale implicitly and whilst he is in charge I am confident that the positives will always outweigh the negatives. Constant criticism gets you nowhere. The stanno stuff was best in there, many of our "fans" hate him though, and the way we're run.
Anyway this really hard bunch of fixtures for Man U still doing it's damage.
I read Soccernomics / Why England Lose a couple of years ago and it's an interesting read: one bit that sticks in the mind is the analysis of footballing strength being (over-)concentrated in post-industrial areas as opposed to semi-rural or traditionally better-off areas. Goes some way to explaining why places like the West Country, for all their population, don't (and arguably won't) support a top-level side.

Think I might look for PeteUSA's views on the goalkeeper issue...

Januzaj being in the team in a attacking sense is a improvement in itself a big improvement though slightly worryingly over the other options given their lack of form. He's pretty fashionable these days. Has actually had a pretty poor season so far, like most of the team, but was back in form today.
Cleverley had a good game too, he was also quality against Shakhtar. There's an understanding there that Carrick and Fellaini blatantly don't have yet.
But all in all it wasn't really an improvement on recent performances, Sunderland were just too crap to punish it and Januzaj got us the points.
Player improving between the ages of 16 and 18, who would have thought?Januzaj
Has grown so much as a player in the last year or so.
Haha yep. Though some of them develop a bit slower than others and at different ages.Player improving between the ages of 16 and 18, who would have thought?
nah, hard to justify months of inaction, unless your a government minister......Thread should be locked until the next whites win tbh
