It's hard to hate on this Rajasthan side from my perspective. I know all the IPL teams have the decks stacked in their favour etc etc but there are just too many players I like in that side for me to really hope it fails.

I must admit, I have enjoyed watching this CLT20 (mainly because it's on Eurosport and I don't get much chance to watch cricket on TV not having sky!). It's easy to see why the Australian teams have struggled this year in it though, with most of the big name players that should be playing for either Brisbane or Perth actually tied up with IPL teams, e.g. Coulter-Nile, Watson, Johnson etc...

Almost became a Melbourne Royals victory, until you find the player-of-the-match is Rahul Shukla.

Elsewhere in the Royals' XI, Ashok Menaria seems to be more of a one-or-two-overs bowler than a batsman, and would be in at nine, and this bloke's one of Rajasthan's best batsmen. Surely he should he a bigger role? At least four full overs a game, or a promotion in batting?

I know Watson doesn't come into the likeable category, but his first couple of overs were superb. Beautiful, late outswing off a perfect length. Oh Watson, why do you do this to us?

Yeah, apparently they need to win by either 49 runs or with 5.4 overs to spare. I'd reckon Mumbai would probably prefer to bowl first in that scenario, but either way it won't be easy.

This is the most confident I've seen Rohit Sharma in a reasonably high-pressure chase (though I haven't really been following CLT20 either). Scoreboard pressure used to be his biggest demon, may this allay the selectors' fears about him.
