I was going to post after about half an hour, about how turgid the matches in the Prem were, but glad I didn't now.

C'mon blow the whistle ref.

If Sky's to be believed Wilshere's lining up wide left again.

Sez an awful lot about how much Wenger wubs Ramsey he's supplanted England's great white midfield hope.

Easy to forget he was considered a bigger talent than Bale until Shawcross tried to kill him.

As a Cardiff boy he'll want this the day.

Our next five league matches are:

vs West Brom (H)
vs Sunderland (A)
vs Southampton (H)
vs Stoke (H)
vs Fulham (H)

Really should be looking to get 15 points from these set of games now. If we do that, then things look a lot better as others will drop points.
Note to self. Shouldn't tempt fate.

Terrible performance today.

Defense was particularly horrendous without Vidic. Rio shocking.

Credit to West Brom though. Came with a good game plan and executed it pretty well.

Wow Ramsey!

What a turnaround from the first weekend of this season at Arsenal.

From doom and gloom and all boos to top of the league comfortably.

Ha, yep. We've won ten on the bounce away, eight on the bounce in all comps, beat Swansea 2-0 Leekside last year...

Pile in on Swans now, tbh.
This Arsenal side is so much tougher mentally though.

If the Arsenal side of roughly 07-10 had even half the mental strength of the current lot they'd have won a couple of titles.

Interesting watching the Madrid derby there is apparently 70 Athletico fans there, they showed them when athletico scored and there was plenty of empty seats around them. In both the games I went to see whilst I was over there this week I couldn't identify any away supporters.

Do the Spanish just not do away support? I can understand some of the distances involved are larger than over here but obviously that's not the case tonight and one of the games I went to the away team was getafe which is a suburb of Madrid anyway. I guess the bizarre way they fixture doesn't help but

I love Diego Costa.

They certainly don't have the culture of away support like we do in England but not sure about the Madrid situation, always assumed they just got no ticket allocation.

Getafe have no fans anyway so that might explain that one.

Gawd Real are a bit of a shambles, they'll probably win with a couple of iffy pens and a sending off mind.

There isn't the same culture of following your team away from home.
