One positive is that Rankin is certainly an international quality bowler. Pace, bounce and accuracy.

That'll be something close to 400, which you wouldn't bet against given what we're viewing at present.

What's the record score for an ODI in England?
Yeah they would have to score @ 10/over, can't see it happening. I reckon more like 350 on the cards. It's always harder for a new batsmen in.

Good over by rankin.

The difference between him and the rest suggest this isn't really a 300 plus wicket if your bowlers knwo what they're doing.

Indeed think that's what is worrying here, the rest of them have been so pish.

Mind you his fieldings not up too much......

Picking 1 front line seamer was always going to be a problem - only having 2 in the initial squad was stupidity.

Bugger. I'm watching the game on ecbcricket on youtube and Aus are 80-3. I was wondering what some of the comments on here were about. Well a quick trip to cricinfo explains it all.

Average score here is 291 batting first, so its always around a 300 pitch tbf. Problem is that Aussies are going well past the par score currently.

Yes it was. I really don't see that there are no other quicks out there to give Giles and Morgan some genuine options.

Jordan has shown something as well here. Pace and hostility. Stokes being dramatically outbowled by both he and Rankin for my money.
