Okay, I'm going to try to watch Stokesy with an unbiased, non-scaly-biting way. People said he bowled well for the first 6 or so overs, so lets see.

Not a great start for CJ it has to be said.

It's intriguing that he really does bowl like a crap specialist and not like a part timer. Has a 'high ceiling' as the forum Pewsians would say.

He reminds me a bit of Mitch Marsh in that bowling fast outswingers seems to come pretty naturally to him but he hasn't exactly devoted a lot of time or planning to his bowling so he can lose it a bit when batsmen get on top of him, particularly as he has an easy to line up trajectory. He bowls whatever the opposite of a heavy ball is (light ball I suppose). He's a lit bit slippery than Marsh in general but I think both are going to be more long-form bowlers than short-form bowlers.

Totally inept wasn't it. He wouldn't do it in first class cricket, but he is just a fragile kid who has so much growing up to do.
