There's no way Djokovic is human. After sitting through that 20 minute game I need a cold shower.

To go from where he was after his first round loss at Wimbledon to this. Amazing strength of character.

Great win.

anyone know how many grand slams Fed had at Nadal's age (27)? Didn't realize how close Nadal is getting...already on 13.

Gladly proved wrong by him. Was worried he would never reach the same heights off the clay after his exit at Wimbledon. probably just too soon after French with so little match play this year. Great to see him back at his best. The next couple of years will be fun with him, Djokovic and Murray if all stay fit.

Hey Jono, when do you think one of the minnows will win a Slam again? Minnows as in everyone bar the big 3 Rafa, Jock and Muzz.

He had 12 before he turned 28. 13 a month after he turned 28.
cheers. wow, so pretty much dead even at this stage. I guess the big difference is going to be Nadal's injury tendency, but he does seem to always come back pretty strong. He does have the benefit of a relatively weak period moving forward as well - there's not exactly too many standout younger players so far on the tour. Also it's assuming Fed can't win any more slams, although I think that's quite unlikely at this stage. I personally hope Fed keeps the record though. Nadal is one of the greatest fighters the game has seen, but Fed is tennis.

I've tried to bag Fed so many times on here but I never was witty enough to call him a minnow.

Rafa confirmed to end the year as #1

Wonder if he can win his first ever ATP World Tour Finals title.

Fed looked really good today against Richard, still needs to cut out some of the unforced errors and mind lapses though.

He obviously still has that touch of genius about him, just doesn't tap into it as often anymore.

Hoping for at least a semi final berth and a flash from the past vs Rafa when he meets him there.

Roger was a fighter today and really showed some extended flashes of genius from the past. Still to many lapses though.

His serve and forehand will need to be on tomorrow to have a chance against Rafa.

Lets go Roger.

That was epic from Fed, just refused to lose. Scrapped his way back into the first (though he didn't win it), second and third sets. Amazing.

****ing Delpo, just can't win the really big matches since 2009. So annoying.

i think roger is trying to emulate petros' fairy tale career ending (for him it would probably have to be at wimbledon) but i don't really see him beating novak, rafa or andy anymore, i hope i am proved wrong...
