leadership group is Wade, Maxwell, Finch, Handscomb and Keath..
I assume from that group that Hanscombe is the vice captain. But I haven't heard if they have made an official announcement on it or not.

I'm not disappointed White has been replaced. I think the time has come for him to concentrate on getting his own game back where it ought to be, and that's probably what the selectors think as well.

Credit to White for doing a darn good job. Unfortunately many of us are probably guilty of having too higher expectations on what he might have achieved as a captain and a cricketer.

lol at the leadership group, you'd think at least one of Quiney or White would be in there

That Tassie side doesn't look all that flash without Forkers Faulkner.

BTW I don't think its THAT likely the ODI squad is the same. I think for instance if fit Starc will be India. Still, I guess your way is easier to select teams.

My QLD Team would be:

1 Khawaja 2 Pomersbach 3 Forrest 4 Burns 5 Lynn 6 Reardon 7 Hartley 8 Hopes 9 Cutting/Gale 10 Hauritz 11 McDermott - I just think Lynn needs another opportunity this year after a good T20 season with the Heat.

For Victoria, I don't think Siddle will play the ODs.

Good overall teams though Brockley.

My changes would include:
- Rohrer and probably Copeland ahead of Tremain and maybe SOK.
- Sheridan ahead of the resting Siddle
- Lynn in the QLD batting lineup or Floros.

It would be nice to see the full squads though to make a more informed decision.

He could, I'm not really sure. I just looked at one of the links Brockers provided and it had Hartley named at 7 in a warmup so that was good enough for me. Moller and Kemp are both opener options too and Neser and Feldman will be amongst the squad you would imagine, perhaps Ben McDermott too.

Thanx Nufan, found picking WA squad bereft of Marsh,Voges,N C Nile andJohnson quite hard.Thought someone would complain about Rimmington and North in my line up.
Anyone know where Travis Birt is this summer, other than Hurricanes.
Hartley averaged over 30 for qld last year, top average from what can remember.

Birt retired from First Class and List A cricket to whore himself out to T20 teams across the world all year round. He'll probably play some grade cricket in Perth at times but he'll spend most of the summer chasing T20 tail.
