Well he hasn't been this far, for sure. If he can maintain his start to the season (obviously I don't mean in terms of goals per game) then it's up for discussion. Big season for him.

Got to wait to see how Lamela settles, that will be key.

That was by far the best of them but not a thrilling start to the big games this season.

Yeah they've had no real penetration in any of their first three games. They haven't looked bad by any means but don't really have a plan for the final third now that "pass to Bale, Bale scores screamer" is out.

That said, Arsenal defended pretty well. It's speculative to say things about any one team at this stage but on the whole it really looks like the brief era of attack dominating defence is over.
