Please be trueIn a vaguely related matter, would it be possible to post up a Top Ten of the most highly rated innings?
EDIT: Also, if Tendulkar's highest rated innings was that in a loss to Pakistan - how highly rated was Shahid Afridi's "match winning" knock in that same Test. Would it be true to say that the ODI specialist Afridi has a more highly rated Test match innings than Sachin Tendulkar??

What was the argument - did he predict this? Last I saw he was predicting Hammond to be next up (at number 11).Haha. Migara 1, All arguing with him 0.
No I didn't predict it. Basically it's a shock for me. But I expected Sangers to be next to Sachin, higher than Kallis, and to overtake him when he finishes his career. To prove the point I did bring some disconcerting stats, to the unhappiness of many SRT fans. What was the argument - did he predict this? Still Sanga and Kallis left with Lara.So Brian Lara is the greatest of the modern batsman?
I love this list.
If I am not mistaken, Kallis was named already.Still Sanga and Kallis left with Lara.
Fair enough. Sanga is a superb player and a huge personal favourite of mine, though I'll admit to being surprised that he's quite this high in the rankings. No I didn't predict it. Sadly yes - McCabe came in at number 68, a relatively short career length counting against him. Though I reckon his Sydney, Jo'burg and Trent Bridge innings alone are worth more than most players' entire careers.SRT at 10 has done a good deal for my faith in this list in a lot of ways - he's a hugely gifted batsman, who I have thoroughly enjoyed watching but I don't remember him for any remarkable knocks that turn matches on their head which, imo at least, is the most important measure of greatness (have we had Stan McCabe yet?)

I shouldn't be surprised that you know this number but somehow I still amIt's so awesome that after 135+ years of Test cricket and 83,567 individual batting innings, the very first innings in the history of the game is still rated statistically in the top four.
