Bangladesh are fielding a pretty strong attack (for them)... so the way they're getting annihilated is a bit worrying for them.
Yeah it's not really far from full strength. Their best two ODI bowlers aren't playing but if we just pretended Shakib and Razzak were injured for a second then they absolutely could select this attack at full strength.

Really disappointed with Gazi's efforts in all these games. Thought he was a pretty decent bowler when I saw him against the Windies.

yeah what's the deal here? Surely Somerset could have got someone better?
Rehman was the plan, who incidentally was awesome at the back end of last season, but he pulled out when he was selected for the Zimbabwe tour. Somerset are always going to be on the hunt for a bowler other than a batsman, and clearly the barrel was dry.

Really gut wrenching when relegation rivals Surrey got Hashim Amla as well.

Well he's still comfortably been their best bowler of the tour and he's returned decent figures in a couple of the games. I think it's probably just as much a case of "Yes, you can attack the attacking, loopy off spinner in OD cricket on flat English wickets when you're batting on 70* and all the other bowlers are leaking like taps as well" as it is him not bowling well.

In his defence his flight landed from India the morning of the game yesterday, so he might be suffering from that but yeah when Dockrell has 5 and you can't get one against a severely weakened Bears line up its not a great sign.

Can't even get a win against Glamorgan this season it's looking like.

*Sigh*

Had no idea Goodwin was still playing though, surely he's getting a bit old now?

He's over 40 now. He got dropped and delisted by Sussex last season after a bit of a lean run but thought "No, **** you, I want to keep playing" and went over to Glamorgan.

989 runs @ 66 so far this season. Joke's on Sussex.

Could be worse. Hampshire were supposed to get Ajmal and all they got was a couple more weeks of Tanvir.

50 up for Compo off 86 deliveries. Steady knock by the recently resigned opener. #wearesomerset

Borthwick with a 3rd championship ton of the season. Turning into a very accomplished player. Always looks pretty secure technically on the highlights. Gotta be decent to score runs at chester le street in the top order- then again todays knock was against surrey.

He is probably averaging more than most of our top 7 this year anyway. Probably our deepest batting line up this year as well he would have been batting 10 if not for this. Hopefully get a few batting points tomorrow. A win would surely almost guarantee promotion
