Yeah I'm definitely not going to argue that they've done well this transfer window. It's been an absolute disaster and the next two weeks are about limiting the damage.

See to be honest I reckon Suarez's agent ****ing up his release clause has ****ed Arsenal over this window.

Wenger probably looked at the likes of Cavani and Falcao going for €60m+ and smirked to himself, thinking that Suarez was a) cheaper and b) didn't need to settle in to the Premier League and England.

If Wenger could go back 6 weeks I reckon he'd be in the hunt for Cavani given how the Suarez saga appears to have played out.

The window hasn't been a complete disaster, Arsenal have cleared out a lot of deadwood eating up wages and contributing nothing to the squad. That at least is a positive, although it's really scraping the barrel.

Had to laugh when they asked Carragher how Newcastle would attack citeh and he just drew a forward line from all the front six. A bit harsh putting him alongside Neville tbh

I doubt he would have tbh, it would have been even more of an un-Wenger like move than trying to sign Suarez was.

Anyway, Arsenal linked with Kondogbia, Uchida and Cabaye this evening. Wouldn't mind any of them, but not convinced they represent a huge step up from anyone that is already in the squad already.

TBF to Joe Kinnear those names really are quite hard to pronounce, just trying to find a positive here.
