*Official* Fifth Test at The Oval

KP has got another scan on his knee, all very odd considering he seemed to want to play for Slurrey at the week-end.

Something not right, think he should rest the knee until the corresponding tour, and take some time off.

What are the odds of Cook getting a century now the pressure of captaincy is off?

I reckon that Aussie will win the toss and bat first. ~310 in the first innings followed by a meek response of ~250 by England (courtesy of Bell's fourth century), Australia bat to a lead of 280 and Cook and Trott centuries lead to a 8 wicket victory! Wishful/ludicrous thinking I know.

They'll do it at about 80% too.

"The scary thing for Australia is that as a team England haven't really produced a complete performance yet. It has been one or two players per Test that have done the business.
Sounds like a typical Pom. So arrogant, how can they think that they haven't fully produced yet. That pommie **** Glenn McGrath needs to show some humility.

Have heard hints that Agar may play as a specialist batsman (doubt the reliability of the sources though).

I call bull****; Invers isn't that senile.

Maxwell played a test match. He thinks all rounders are invaluable. Don't bet on it. We could get Wade, Agar and Faulkner in the top 7 as bats/all rounders.
