Rogers is now averaging 40 in Test Cricket. Australia now has 2 players at 40+ against England's 7.

Langer and Hayden didn't have great series there IIRC
Opening partnerships are weird. So easy for one of them to fall easily.

Strauss and Cook only ever averaged around 40 together, even though both averaged more than that individually. So many times one of them fell early and the other made a big score.

3 balls.

Huge innings for him. Got runs against SA that time didn't he?
Yeah his 65 against South Africa was a top knock which was huge for us winning the match. Looked really good that day, hit many boundaries through the leg side.

Swann looks a much better bowler when he bowls a bit slower. Been spearing it in a bit so far today. Got him a wicket against Rogers, but against Khawaja his first 2 were a bit quick, when he gave it a bit of flight and air, Khawaja looked a lot more uncomfortable.

Swann needs to settle in and work over Khawaja now, if one can lead to two or three then we have a way back into the game.

Just realized how much this sounds like Bairstow and his 95..
