He has, but watching Siddle and Bird it looks like they're just floating it up there. Normally Siddle hits a reasonable length and moves it around a bit.Havent been watching the gun but pretty sure Harris has been bowling faster than Siddle and Bird.
Lyon took 7/94 in India. One before that was Starc's 6fer against SA.Who was the last Aussie to take 6?
So we'll just ignore his 4 years of world class form in a desperate attempt to salvage an "I was right" moment?Funny how the worlds best wicket keeper batsman can't make a run when a decent bowler has a look at him.
Lucky he has his glove work hey, heh.
Siddle looks unfit and Bird isn't as good as you lot hyped him up to be.Siddle and Bird have underperformed enormously this test.
Forgot about Lyon in all the Rhino excitement.Lyon took 7/94 in India. One before that was Starc's 6fer against SA.
Like Prior then eh?Siddle looks unfit and Bird isn't as good as you lot hyped him up to be.
Suarez sale price??I'll offer you 48,346,123/1
Bird is much better than this from what I've seen previously, and I'm not one of the 'you lot' you refer to. Hardly the first time a promising bowler's failed to live up to expectation in his first test in England.Bird isn't as good as you lot hyped him up to be.
Hope Sussex likes his world class form.So we'll just ignore his 4 years of world class form in a desperate attempt to salvage an "I was right" moment?
Cool.
Prior has lots of form in the bank, Bird has looked ordinary and only had 2 tests before this. Siddle has bowled brilliantly in the series but looks shot to bits this game. Back to back games and all that.Like Prior then eh?
And consequently dropped......Lyon took 7/94 in India.
Was thinking the same. I guess he's not the type of person to say anything possibly negative on live TV.It's so frustrating that Strauss refuses to talk about the players he's captained in any detail. Isn't that why he's there?
