Bird is much better than this from what I've seen previously, and I'm not one of the 'you lot' you refer to. Hardly the first time a promising bowler's failed to live up to expectation in his first test in England.

Prior has lots of form in the bank, Bird has looked ordinary and only had 2 tests before this. Siddle has bowled brilliantly in the series but looks shot to bits this game. Back to back games and all that.
