It reverts to ump's call if he's down the track (>2.5m). Hence why it's a trashy review even before you consider the line.impact umpires call? are they kidding themselves!?
I'm not saying Haddin is a good keeper. He flat out isn't. He get's lazy, but he has taken a few deliveries particularly down the leg side to Starc early last test. He's gloved some dives, but not all the dives were ones that footwork negates any dive. A dive was always required for the best keepers at times.yeah technique-wise he's not a bad keeper. other than the fact he just drops everything. edges, takes, returns from the outfield, the lot. [edit - wade]
nah, it's been exactly the same, he's just held onto some tough chances, which is good, but not related to his footwork.
I agree. I don't know a whole lot about wicket keeping but they always seemed pretty similar technically to me; Haddin is just a naturally better catcher of the ball.wade's footwork has always struck me as much the same as haddin's
more than 3m down the track = hawkeye's reliability can be questionable = ump's callimpact umpires call? are they kidding themselves!?
I agree!Umpires call on a fourth stump that one.
We need a good YouTube vid of the awful reviews from both sides in this series

surely that's for the predictive element and not the point of impact!?more than 3m down the track = hawkeye's reliability can be questionable = ump's call
