Quality ball that, Harris is a gem of a bowler. If you keep it in that area you will take plenty of test wickets, simplicity that belies its difficulty.

Been saying it for a long while - should not have moved Root to open yet. He was going brilliantly down at 6 and Compton was very unfairly dropped after a couple of average tests

Now what do we do? Send Root back to 6? Drop him? He looks completely lost playing the new ball

Have you seen that dismissal of Tendulkar by Jimmy in the Nagpur test in December? Turned so sharply it could qualify for spin, even.

Meanwhile, my admiration for Harris grows. A real world class bowler, sad his career's been blighted by injuries, 'cause he's class enough to be any batsman's nightmare.
