Well he wouldn't have footmarks to bowl into, which is gonna make life a lot easier for Clarke and co, I don't think Lyon is gonna make better use of Starceh's footmarks than Swann would, even if there are more RHs in England's line-up (3 for each but Broad/Anderson not batsmen).
But has Clarke, Smith and Haddin had any problem with him while Starc's been playing?

Well Swann didn't have much of a chance to bowl into Starc's footmarks at OT, as they didn't really develop plus we batted first, I recall Haddin being bowled cutting, but not much else, Lyon yet to dismiss a RH as of now though (in the series) so we don't really know if there is an advantage either way.

I don't really enjoy watching Trott play through square leg or squarish midwicket much at all but his cover drives are fantastic to watch when he plays them.

Can see Trott getting himself out again soon. Back in as good a touch as he was in first two tests so will throw it away.
