Yeah, I'm a bit miffed by the Aussie management's treatment of their last FC hit-out for the tour. Tends to confirm they pick blokes for the whole series which leaves them little room to move if things don't go to plan.

What was the shot like? If he has just got a good ball after facing 6 then its harsh to judge on one innings. Although there is no way he is forcing his way in without a big innings second dip.

So with Smith and Hughes both making decent scores, the problem of who to drop for Warner grows larger.

I suggest that they should drop the one batsman who hasn't made any runs this game, and has, like everyone else, only scored one fifty so far this series. That's right, it's time for Michael Clarke to sit out.
