I feel like this I'd going to be a massive road tomorrow if the sun is out. Wouldn't think 300 odd would be enough here.

Definitely not normally but both teams are so much better at bowling than batting that what constitutes a good total is a lot lower than usual.

Bowling with much more discipline now than the crap Siddle and Pattinson were serving before lunch. ****ing Victorians.

whilst true, if the new ball can be averted without harm, i feel this is a pitch very suited to a good deal of our batsmen. It's a fairly australian wicket really. Decent pace, good bounce, not much movement off the surface.

Potentially, but I'm not sure. England gave your batsmen such a pasting on similar wickets last time out.

The frustrating thing is that the 2nd half 9f the afternoon session and the evening session should be your reward for gritting out a tricky morning. Particularly with the weather being as it is.

If it's an Australian wicket then that's advantage England going by your blokes' First Class records.

yeah well im not gonna count chickens before they hatch here, but i'd expect Watson, Hughes, Khawaja and and Smith in particular will like these conditions.

**** he's a good bowler this ****.
Harris? I only just realised he's averaging 22 in tests, which is quite something. But has only played in 13 of them.

Good luck to him, he deserves a break after all his bad luck with injuries.

Aye.

Bowls such a heavy ball. Shame he's been so stymied.
