Broad bowling nicely here. Joy to watch when he gets his tail up. Will be a tough test for Cowan with the ball talking.

It's been the most interesting and exciting test I've seen in ages. I know it's eye of the beholder and all, but you've had quicks taking wickets, batsmen working hard for their runs but being able to score them and bowlers having to work hard to get blokes out. Don't see the problem with it at all.

If it was green, the way these two sides bat ATM it would have been over by Friday morning.
The test has been great so far. Only the pitch itself has been poor. But as you said, it's probably helped the batsmen enough for the game to last four days.

It wasn't a bad review but it was still wasted in that Australia got nothing from it.
Well that means you never review something you think isn't out, in case it's clipping leg. If it comes back umpires call I don't think it's wasteful to have reviewed it. Gets back to the point you shouldn't lose a review if it's ump's call.

I hope Cowan plays for the team and not his career
What does this even mean? By playing for his career, he'll do everything he can to make as many runs possible. That's exactly what Australia would want from him. Who cares how quickly he scores, there's ample time left in the game.

Got a feeling the match rests on this partnership. They grind out 40-50 odd we'll get very close. If we lose another quickly, think we're screwed.

Nah I'm not saying he shouldn't have reviewed it. I don't blame him for it; he did nothing wrong. But it's still a waste if you get nothing from it. A waste isn't always necessarily a bad call.

nah it looked out
Big inswing, looked dodgy to me. I'm not totally blaming Aleem for one close call. Moreso my annoyance of the God decision for DRS. I've calmed down now anyway and have accepted that these close call sometimes go against the people I want them to.
