Kudos to England, have geniunely made an effort to come back. Very controlled innings from both. Although it would be meaningless if this parternship doesn't go all the way.

If i have to hear one more of these ****s saying 'dayboo' instead of debut i'm going to kill a koala bear with a snooker ball in a sock.

He has a point
I'm just glad Australia don't play in maroon colours otherwise we'd be always hearing that other abortion of pronunciation they have...

Solid effort Swingpanzee, that was like, 100 post just today, good from both teams since tea, tomorrow vital, if England bat all day they win, if they don't, Australia win IMO

Good session by Cook and KP. Game just about level but given Australia have to bat last on a very dry pitch which is turning a fair bit already i'd rather be in the England camp tonight. Ridiculous day for the 2nd day running, England start well, Australia dominate the middle of the day and then England have a good end of the day. What the heck will happen on day 3.

Really pretty impressed by how the Australian seamers bowled, particularly Starc. Really nothing going on out there and they were disciplined throughout.

One more session like that first up tomorrow and England would be in a really strong position though.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why test cricket is, and always will be, the greatest game of all time.

Never in my life have I wanted a bread-stealer to score a ton - until today. Take a bow, Agar the Orrible. You were absolutely brilliant, and deserved a ton. I genuinely felt for you when you holed out in the deep.
