People saying he definitely hit that, and then there are those saying "he may have hit it, you don't overturn".

Snicko giving nothing for the record and add nothing on hot spot (albeit front on). I doubt he hit it

Yeah, that close in camera plays some tricks on me at times, I've thought there's been deflections from that same view a number of times.

On first viewing it looked so out, but I'm not 100% certain.

that much deflection from that little distance to travel to the pad would have been a thick edge, the kind of edge that would have produced even a front on hotspot, pretty clear that was out IMO.

Yeah Dar was obviously saying not out because he hit it. I'm surprised they reversed it at it didn't seem conclusive he hadn't hit it. Especially with the hotspot that would have nailed it either way not working.

Trott looked 100% dead to me live. I was out of my chair instantly. On replay it looked like he might have hit it but there's no evidence for it really and it really should have been given out live so I dunno. Weird one.

Nah he gave it not out because he thinks he hit it, not because it was missing so your point doesn't quite work.

Still think the right decision was made though.
