My humble opinion is that the England top order have a very strong and underrated bowling attack to face. When the weak link in the pace department is fifth ranked in the world, you know they are packing heat.

Can anyone recall a better Australian lower batting order than Pattinson, Siddle, Starc and Agar? I don't think there has ever been a better one.

AUSTRALIA A would be a decent team at the moment too.

Well Agar has certainly looked good, but I really fear we are going to burn up a kid. Results will tell if the selectors got it right, but I fear it's too far too soon for Ashton. Consistently said Starc is our 5 best bowler. Again hoping to be proved wrong, but I reckon it's odds on he'll have no more than 1 wicket before the 2nd new ball. Damn, I am basically hoping to be proved wrong about almost everything. Wouldn't have moved Clarke out of 5, don't have much faith in Watson at opener, and don't believe Siddle will be anything more than steady when what we need is dangerous.

So desperately hoping to be wrong about at least 4 of those 5 decisions or we're going to get pumped.

Yeah same here and I'm stuck on the small TV cause Million Dollar Decorators is much more important than the First Ashes Test. #cookmesomeeggs

Perhaps they are extending their options so they can reverse the order in the second innings!
