Yes throw in a bit more nibble off the seam that he will generally get on lesser batsman-friendly pitches and he can be a real handful.
Commentators seem to be saying that the lack of speed poses problems with overbalancing too.

Reminds me of a Neil Mallender/Steve Watkin type of bowler, accurate, just does enough and gives very little away. Also durable like them too. Every team needs a bowler like him in county cricket.

Mills definitely the quickest bowler this season in terms of average speed and quickest speed. A few have reached 90mph but Mills was regularly around 89 and 90mph. A problem I can see is like this wicket there are a load of really slow low wickets in the second division. Glos, Worcs, Glam are desperately slow most of the time.
Really becomes a test of how willing these bowlers are to pitch it up. He went through even Trott with a full delivery early on so the potential to bowl quick and full is there. However, against set batsmen, there is the risk of going for runs bowling fast and full.

In fairness that comes with experience, he hasn't got much. I thought he was 23/24 but he is only 20 so could learn it.

It'll be interesting to see how he progresses. As you approach 95mph, I think you really gain the ability to just go straight through some batsmen with sheer pace and not much movement.

On a vicarious claim to fame tip, my boss's boss is Tymal's club captain at Mildenhall CC. :cool2:

Meanwhile: has Saj been rubbing boot polish into his hair? Wherefore the silver highlights of yore? For shame.

EDIT: Ugh. Ugly prod from Root there. Nice grab from Westley in the slips.

Would like to think the knee thing had everything to do with that dismissal. Loss of concentration really.

Saj coming with a late bid to win himself a place in the Ashes squad this summer on this evidence!!

Looks in absolutely imperious touch.

I know it's only Ravinder bowling, but that front-foot punch through the covers was all touch and timing. Creamy stuff.
He does but when he comes out all guns blazing he gives it away, his best knocks come when he starts slowly then goes bang after he passes 50.
