I think it should simply be... Name one player who was banned in the earlier 11 rounds of the draft :p

Yeah but I've done that in the past.

It is going to be name a player who is not on the banned list and not selected BUT everyone gets to email me one extra cricketer each who gets adds to the banned list. So for example, honest you might realize that Spikey loves Ben Hilfenhaus so in your email you go:

round 12.1 (whoever you decide)
Banned player - Ben Hilfenhaus

This will mean people have the opportunity to look at other teams XIs and automatically ban a player that will help another team out, but wouldn't really fit into your team. It will also potentially change how daring/cautious a persons own selections are.

Is that easy to follow?

Hold on, are you suggesting that we need to pick a player who is not on either the banned or the selected list AND nominate a player that will be added to the banned list for this round itself??? I understand the logic but I think it is unnecessarily complicated...

Its just an extra challenge to add to the game. The question allows for so many terrific cricketers to be chosen, that having an extra say 7-8 banned players (I would be surprised if everyone chooses a different player) just adds something a little different which could ultimately see one of their opponents go from getting an ATG to getting a sheep.

You can use the question however you see fit, if you think its smart going being the best player of all time then good, but you could also chose a personal favourite of someones or chose the best captain, best keeper etc available to try and stuff up the other team a bit.

I don't think its that complicated?

oh goodie it's that time of day where I attempt to remember who I picked

Also it was me who picked Kanhai. As a bonus, he can be my keeper if I have to go down that route

I assume that the '3 Strikes' rule still applies. Do we we e-mail our 'Banned Player' once only, or for .1, .2, and 0.3 ?

3 strike rule still applies yes. You only email me one banned player in total and it needs to be done when you email 12.1 - Lets finish 9,10,11 first.

My team will have no problem in bowling the opposition out as I had some good random luck in the first half of the Draft. However, I can't buy a decent batsman to save my life . But I guess the unknown is the beauty of the Sheep Draft;
