Howsie
International Captain
He averages 20 with the bat and 50 with the ball, he's a street bum.I don't get the NMac hate. Reckon he's a serviceable LO cricketer.

Speaking of, I found this guy whilst revising for an upcoming medieval exam. Alexander of Hales - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaAs opposed to.....
A street bum that goes for 4.8 per over.He averages 20 with the bat and 50 with the ball, he's a street bum.
Believe it or not, all of England's batsmen have been awesome in ODIs over the last year or so. You've obviously not caught them on a good day but that doesn't mean **** really. The test of course will be whether they can actually manage to perform as a unit in a one day tournament that their opposition is taking at least a little seriously like the Champions Trophy coming up, and if they don't aim up then someone like Hales will get a look in.As opposed to.....
The fact that he's your best option doesn't preclude him from being merde.A street bum that goes for 4.8 per over.
Still want to know who would be a better bet. Apart from Vettori obviously.
Hira? Patel? Woodcock? Bhupinder Singh? Beard?
Just bugs me.The fact that he's your best option doesn't preclude him from being merde.
There's a big difference between saying a player is gash and saying he should be dropped though.Just bugs me.
It's like hearing talkback callers saying "drop all the batsman, they suck!".
Yes, they do suck. But who is better? McCullum, Williamson, and Taylor are the best batsmen in the country. And Ryder sometimes. No point in dropping them as whoever replaces them is worse.
Nah, NZ should take it out by 5 wickets. Drier deck and they switch gears in coloured clothing, specially McCullum. Can't see us chasing this. Probably 70 runs too many.
