***Official*** New Zealand in England series 2013

I don't mind Geoffrey Boycott as a commentator but I cant stand the way he constantly refers to England as 'we'. Stop it!

Yet more poor dismissals to keep NZ interested. A hungry England with this much talent shouldn't let that lot get a look in. If they've one eye on the Ashes the least they could at least see this and the last series as an opportunity to put down a marker.

Not convinced by Root on the back foot outside off either. I know he looks great on the cut when he gets it right but he looks equally likely to fend to gully or chop-on at the same time.

Hopefully we'll get up to 250 and that should be enough.

Something needs to be done about over rates as well. Appalling.

Went today, really enjoyed it, the collapse at the end actually made the whole thing rather better.

A few things:

Root is really good.

Martin is not very good.

Wagner v Trott is a contest I don't wish to see again in a hurry.

Kane Williamson's action live....

Also was Bairstow's shot really bad or was it just an excellent ball? Looked a very poor shot from where I saw it.

looks like all the fun happened just after i fell asleep. last score i remember was 150/2 and thinking "lol, we're ****ed unless we smash them pronto."

the current England lead is right at the boundary of the 50/50 contest. i still think 200+ is advantage england since our batting can fold quite happily very quickly. absolutely imperative we get the last few wickets for about 10 runs.

then if fulton could defy his own technique again that would be swell. another rutherford ton would also be nice.

We simply can't let swann get away with a southee'd 30. None of the tail worries me apart from that, though. **** this is incredible cricket.
